Progressive Sikh Academy is a nursery school located in Morinda, Punjab. Our goal is to build a strong foundation for children in not only basic subjects, but more importantly in Sikhi. Along with learning basic foundational skills in Science, English, Mathematics, Hindi and Punjabi, students will also be exposed to Gurmat, Kirtan, Sikh History, and Gatka.
Our Mission
Young learners learn about Sikh practices and values. Here, a student views the Guru Granth Sahib up close! Students also engage in reciting Simran, Mool Mantar, and various Shabads.
During math, students learn about sorting, measurement, shapes, numbers, and how to problem solve. Here, a student works on a puzzle in which she creates a a flower.
Students engage in developmentally appropriate activities that range from coloring to playing with blocks. Here, a student was drawing to relay a story she created about a baby bird and a spider!
